Holey Associates has been a regular participant in the San Francisco fundraiser named “Petchitecture”. Local designer, architect, contractor and craftsman teams select a four-legged “client” that they interview and then collaborate to design and build architecture, usually some form of “housing”, specifically for their special client.  The projects are then auctioned off at a gala event and the proceeds are donated to an organization named PAWS that provides pets to individuals suffering from HIV and AIDS.  The mobile doghouse that we designed and built for our client, Rory, included an entry ramp, pull handle, sun shading louvers, diffused glazing for light and privacy and a cozy cushion for nap time.
