Located next to the famous Chez Panisse in Berkeley’s Gourmet Ghetto, this Spanish tapas bar has been a hit since it opened in 1998.  The Mediterranean theme to the restaurant is supported by the multiple shades of blue and green glass tiles that are revealed throughout the space.  The simple scale and organization of the space contributes to the patron’s enjoyment of the experience and subconsciously informs the patron as to how the space works, which creates mind-space for them to focus on their enjoyment of food and beverages.
